A highly motivated, creative, adaptable, confident and responsible degree level Fashion Marketing and Branding student studying at Nottingham Trent University. With outstanding organisation skills and a methodological approach to studying. Analytical and creative skills have been developed through university projects work experience. Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present my ideas effectively. A well as having both marketing and project management experience, am always able to bring a positive and pro-active approach to any task, including problem solving.

BUYING AND MARKETING INTERN - BRAVISSIMO

June 2021 - July 2021

This was a gifted opportunity from the brand from a Year 2 live project from being a finalist. Was able to work within the head offices, working with multiple teams to choose products for upcoming seasons as well as completing product research and examining the market more. Including this, was within sample meetings with other buyers from across the globe. I was able to share my creative flare offering input of ways for improving Bravissimos communication strategy.

 MARKETING ASSISTANT - SKINNY FOOD CO. 

July 2021 - October 2021

Based at Skinny Food Co, gained responsibility many different roles. These included contacting possible influencers for the brand to work with, creating blog posts, social media content and facebook advertisement and had input on website creation for the brand to progress. As well as this, I attended meetings around product development and packaging design and sent PR Boxes out to current influencer partnerships.  This was a great opportunity and has let me have great insight for the scope of the marketing and branding world.

SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT CREATOR - THE BODY SHOP

April 2021 - Present

Using social media channels, Instagram and TIK TOK, I have been able to explore my creativity and generate interactive and engaging content for my audience, broadcasting new product launches and top tips. From having a few viral videos, I have been noticed from The Body Shop official and have produced a couple of videos for them as well. From this, I see and engage with customers on a daily basis to offer the best advice for their needs and able to understand the important of consumer relationships. Finally, I am able to explore trends, consumer demands and grow my own knowledge around the beauty industry.

SOCIAL MEDIA CREATOR  AND BRAND ASSISTANT - HEYGIRLS UK & AU

April 2022 - Present

This position is about helping rebrand HeyGirls UK. Involved includes creating instagram posts and stories as well as helping convey the new branding. TIK TOK will be an added feature of the brand within the future which is something I am being able to be strongly apart of. This position will help develop my own interests within women's health as its something I hold dear to myself and can further help women all over. My responsibilities include creating content which is engaging, educational and on brand for HeyGirls. However, part of my role is also understanding there is two brands, the UK brand and the AU. These are similar but not the same. My journey takes me to help grow the need for women's health within society. This is something I am truly excited to pursue and am excited for this new chapter.

For the past 2 years, I have been the social media content creator for the Body Shop Store in Nottingham. Operating as a top 50 store, I have been able to develop my skills on both Instagram and TIK TOK to create innovative and engaging content for the audience. I have managed to get noticed by the head office to also create content for the Body Shop official.

Currently we have nearly 300 followers on TIK TOK and have had a couple of videos which have gone viral.

From my final year on FMB and projects centred around women's health, I have been able to develop my relationships and inner circles to help me get opportunities within this industry. I have been able to help HeyGirls, a UK & AU brand who helps women all over the world with period poverty. Their message and vision is to help empower women to eliminate shame and embarrassment stigmas surrounding periods. This is something I see my own values in and hopefully continue this adventure after university too.
